1.1 Company details

Sheryl Collective Pte. Ltd. ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Self Directed Life and Sheryl Ang, provides educational, coaching, and trauma-informed services, including but not limited to online courses, workshops, group programs, communities, and 1:1 support.

1.2 Nature of services (educational & coaching only)

Our services are educational, coaching-focused, and trauma-informed in nature. They are designed to provide information, skills, and support for self-awareness, self-directed growth, and wellbeing. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, or other regulated professional care.

  • We do not provide diagnosis, treatment, or crisis intervention.
  • We do not offer medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice.
  • You are responsible for seeking appropriate professional support where needed.

Trauma-informed means we aim to create safer, more compassionate spaces and practices informed by current understanding of trauma. It does not mean that we are providing therapy or trauma treatment.

1.3 Eligibility & parental responsibility

By using our services, you confirm that you are at least the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, or that you are a parent or legal guardian providing consent on behalf of a minor participant where applicable.

  • Parents and guardians remain responsible for the safety, wellbeing, and decision-making of minors who participate in our programs.
  • You agree to supervise minors’ use of our online platforms and communication channels as appropriate.
  • You agree that any information provided about a minor is accurate and shared with appropriate consent.

1.4 Client responsibilities

  • You take full responsibility for your own physical, emotional, and mental health when participating in our services.
  • You agree to seek immediate professional or emergency help if you are in crisis or at risk of harm.
  • You will provide accurate information when registering, paying, or communicating with us.
  • You will follow any participation guidelines, boundaries, or safety protocols we reasonably set.
  • You understand that results vary between individuals and are influenced by your own engagement and implementation.

1.5 Payment, fees & refunds

Prices, payment terms, and any installment options are described at the point of purchase and/or in your program agreement. By completing a purchase, you authorise us and our payment processors to charge the selected payment method for all fees due.

  • All fees are payable in the currency indicated at checkout, unless stated otherwise.
  • You are responsible for any bank charges, currency conversion fees, or taxes imposed by your jurisdiction.
  • If you are on a payment plan, you agree to keep a valid payment method on file and to complete all scheduled payments.
  • Access to certain services or materials may be paused or revoked if payments are overdue.

Refund eligibility (if any) will be stated clearly on the specific program, course, or offer page and/or in your program agreement. Where no refund policy is stated, all fees are non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

1.6 Community conduct & guidelines

Our groups, forums, and communities (including any private messaging, chat, or live calls) are intended to be supportive, respectful spaces. By participating, you agree to:

  • Treat all participants, facilitators, and staff with respect and kindness.
  • Avoid harassment, hate speech, discrimination, bullying, or any harmful or unsafe behaviour.
  • Maintain appropriate confidentiality and not share other participants’ stories, identities, or personal details outside the space, unless you have their explicit permission and it is safe to do so.
  • Not record, screenshot, or distribute calls, course content, or community exchanges unless explicitly allowed.
  • Use our platforms in compliance with all applicable laws and the terms of any third-party services (e.g., Zoom, community platforms, payment processors).

We may moderate, remove content, or revoke access (without refund, where serious breaches occur) if you violate these guidelines or create an unsafe environment for others.

1.7 Intellectual property

All content we provide, including course materials, videos, workbooks, frameworks, live sessions, written resources, and branding ("Materials"), is owned by or licensed to Sheryl Collective Pte. Ltd. and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

  • You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access and use the Materials for your own learning and personal development only.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, share, publish, or create derivative works from the Materials without our prior written consent.
  • You may not use our Materials to train or deliver your own programs, courses, or coaching offerings without a separate written license.

  • To the extent we are found liable, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific program, product, or service giving rise to the claim.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of our services, except where another jurisdiction is required by mandatory consumer protection law.
